Red Eye Month I have been traveling on so many jet planes in the past month…it is so nice to have my feet on the ground again. It seems as though I have gotten off of one plane just to get onto another and in some cases that is pretty much what happened. Here are the details…
Total estimated flight mileage:
16,834 miles
Flight Destinations:
Washington DC
Keflavik, Iceland
Glasgow, Scotland
Baltimore
Tucson, AZ
Montreal, Canada
San Jose, CA
(3 states, 3 countries)
Total estimated flight time:
42 hours or 1.75 days
# Rental Cars:
3 cars (also a total of 3 different car GPS units operated)
# Hotel Rooms:
6 rooms
# times Airline lost baggage:
1 time (arriving from Canada @ 1:30 am with my next flight leaving at 5:50am to California)
Carbon Footprint:
????? pretty big I imagine
There are many other details that I could count from my experience such as events in the airports like how many times I went through x-ray scanning or how many times I was patted down by security guards (once) or how many signs marked security level code Orange or number of people I listened to snore, etc. However, that list could go on for a long time and the truth is that I don't have all the facts or the patience for such measures. As well, I am sure what I have here gets the point across. My Red Eye Jet Set month is over…

it reminds me of a mastercard commercial. except less cheesy, more nerdy :)
Keith you are so cute!
Keith!!!
You did it, and you're still alive...congrats! But you are not quite as OCD as you could be, keep working on that ; )
Keep me posted...did you find a place to lay your weary head at night?
Scarlett
I will work on my OCD.
Hi Keith,
I am impressed! It has been a busy month. What us non-jet setters do not
realize is that it is hard work to travel around for long periods of time.
Unless you have a personal assistant and private jet and pilot.
Hey -- you're a little ahead of me, despite my long flights to/from China
and 3 flights to/from Washington DC recently.
Good for people to know.
