So I left for Maine this weekend to return to tons of ants in my kitchen. There were hundreds of dead frozen ants that were in my freezer.
I have been exterminating and cleaning up dead ants. Did not realize my selection of boxer shorts was just a little too perfect...
I hope there are no ants crawling on me..but there very well might be.

How did the ants get into the freezer? Find where they enter and put a bit of
vaseline - they won't cross the slick.

oh my gosh. i wonder what brought them in. last summer my cousin had a graduation party and some fool spilled a bunch of margarita mix on the floor and she never cleaned it up. that caused our kitchen to become infested with ants. we used a dirt devel and a bunch of ant traps, and we mopped/did a deep clean of the kitchen, and eventually they went away, but it took a couple weeks.

window was left cracked, so I assume that must have been the way in for them, but I am still not sure what they are going after.

Oh, there is space for them to crawl between the metal panels of the freezer. They act like little lemmings stepping one after another into a cold fate of death in the freezer.
